Tine Molendijk (1987) is een Nederlands cultureel antropoloog gespecialiseerd in militair geweld, militaire cultuur en morele verwonding.[bron?]

Levensloop

Molendijk groeide op in het Groningse dorp Ezinge.[1]

Studie en werk

Ze studeerde Culturele antropologie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Erna werkte ze onder andere als docent Culturele antropologie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam en als onderzoeker naar het gebruik van neurobiologisch materiaal in het Pieter Baan Centrum.[2]

In 2020 promoveerde Molendijk aan de Radboud Universiteit op een interdisciplinair onderzoek naar morele verwonding onder Nederlandse veteranen.[3][1]Het was het eerste grootschalige onderzoek naar dit onderwerp bij Nederlandse militairen, en vormde de basis voor een vervolgonderzoek naar morele verwonding en de dagelijkse ervaring van militairen[4][5] waar onder meer de Nederlandse Defensie Academie, de Politieacademie, het Nederlands Veteraneninstituut en het ARQ Psychotrauma Centrum aan meewerken.[6][7] Molendijk staat aan het hoofd van dit onderzoek.[6]

Verder doceert Molendijk ethiek en antropologie aan de Nederlandse Defensie Academie (NLDA),[8][9][1] schrijft ze opiniestukken en geeft ze lezingen, presentaties en workshops over haar onderzoek.[bron?]

Prijs

In 2021 won Molendijk de Van Helsdingenprijs voor haar proefschrift Soldiers in Conflict, voor het beste boek op het grensvlak van psychiatrie en filosofie in 2019 en 2020, uitgereikt door Stichting Psychiatrie en Filosofie.[10]
