Wikisage is op 1 na de grootste internet-encyclopedie in het Nederlands. Iedereen kan de hier verzamelde kennis gratis gebruiken, zonder storende advertenties. De Koninklijke Bibliotheek van Nederland heeft Wikisage in 2018 aangemerkt als digitaal erfgoed.

- The following are not subjects of copyright:
- a) official documents (laws, court decisions, other texts of legislative, administrative or judicial character) and official translations thereof;
- b) State emblems and official signs (flags, armorial bearings, decorations, monetary signs and other State symbols and official signs);
- c) works of folklore, which have no signs of Article 5 of this Law;
- d) communications concerning events and facts that have informational character.
